Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements the Terms of Service and applies to anyone using EZLeads, whether as a dealership administrator, salesperson, or end customer. We may update it as new abuse patterns emerge.

Overview

EZLeads is a dealer management platform. We will not allow the Services to be used to harm consumers, defraud customers, evade regulatory obligations, or undermine the integrity of advertising platforms we integrate with.

Prohibited content & activity

You may not use the Services to:

• Engage in unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent or misleading activity, including odometer fraud, title washing or misrepresentation of vehicle condition;
• Sell or advertise vehicles you do not have the right to sell;
• Process or store sensitive categories of personal data without lawful basis (e.g., government IDs, biometrics, health data) outside features designed for that purpose;
• Send harassing, defamatory, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, child-exploiting or violence-inciting content;
• Infringe any intellectual property, trade secret, privacy or publicity right;
• Attempt to defeat security measures, scrape, reverse-engineer or otherwise circumvent the Services;
• Mass-import contacts you do not have permission to message;
• Use the Services to compete with EZLeads or to develop a product or model substantially similar to the Services.

Security & abuse

• No malware, viruses, worms, trojans or rootkits.
• No denial-of-service or volumetric attacks against EZLeads or third-party systems.
• No unauthorized access or attempt to gain access to other accounts, environments or data.
• No high-volume automated requests outside our published API rate limits.

Messaging compliance (TCPA / CAN-SPAM / CASL)

If you use the Services to send marketing or transactional messages, you agree to comply with all applicable laws:

• TCPA — obtain prior express written consent before sending marketing SMS or making auto-dialed calls; honor revocations; respect quiet hours.
• CAN-SPAM — provide a functional unsubscribe link in every commercial email and process opt-outs within 10 business days.
• CASL — for messages to Canadian recipients, document opt-in.
• State laws — comply with state-level mini-TCPA statutes (e.g., Florida, Oklahoma, Washington).
• Do not impersonate other dealerships, OEMs or government entities.
• Do not send messages from numbers or domains you do not own.

Ad-platform compliance

When using our Meta, Google, TikTok or Microsoft connectors, you must follow each platform's policies — including:

• Meta Customer List Custom Audiences Terms
• Meta Community Standards and Advertising Standards
• Google Ads Policies and Google's privacy controls
• TikTok Ads Policies

Misleading vehicle pricing, "bait and switch" advertising, false discount claims and undisclosed financing fees are strictly prohibited.

Reporting violations

If you suspect abuse, misuse or a security incident, email support@ezleads.io.

Enforcement

EZLeads may, at its sole discretion, investigate reports, remove offending content, throttle or suspend Accounts, and terminate the Services for violations of this AUP, the Terms of Service, or applicable law. We may cooperate with law enforcement and platform partners (Meta, Google, TikTok, Microsoft) where required.
