Platform Terms

Overview

This document covers the platform-specific terms that apply to dealerships using EZLeads to ingest leads, conversations and analytics from third-party advertising platforms. By enabling any connector you confirm that you (a) are the lawful operator of the relevant ad account, (b) have authority to authorize EZLeads, and (c) will comply with the platform's developer and advertising policies, in addition to the EZLeads Terms of Service.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

The EZLeads "Lead Connector" app is reviewed under Meta's App Review program and integrates with Lead Ads, Instagram Direct Messaging and Facebook Pages.

• Permissions requested: leads_retrieval, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_metadata, instagram_basic, instagram_manage_messages, business_management. We do not request ads_read/ads_management beyond what is necessary for lead retrieval.
• Data uses: Solely to deliver leads to the dealership's CRM, attribute leads to source campaigns, sync inbox conversations, generate dealer reporting and maintain the Services.
• Data deletion: Users can revoke access through Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. EZLeads handles Meta's data-deletion callback at https://ezleads.io/api/meta/data-deletion-callback and provides a public deletion endpoint at /legal/data-deletion.
• Privacy disclosures: Our Privacy Policy describes Platform data handling in section 6 ("Ad-Platform Data").
• Compliance: Aligned with the Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies, Advertising Standards and Customer List Custom Audiences Terms.

WhatsApp Business Cloud API

• EZLeads acts as a Business Solution Provider partner using the official WhatsApp Cloud API.
• We require dealerships to register a verified WhatsApp Business display name and undergo Meta Business Verification.
• Messaging adheres to WhatsApp Commerce Policy and Business Messaging Policy; prohibited categories (e.g., illegal goods, misleading information) are not allowed.
• Click-to-WhatsApp ads route conversations to the same shared inbox; users can reply STOP to opt out.

Google APIs & Google Ads

• EZLeads integrates with the Google Ads API for Lead Form Extension delivery and OAuth-based authorization.
• We comply with the Google Ads Data Processing Terms and the Google API Services User Data Policy (including Limited Use restrictions).
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide or improve user-facing features in the Services, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Lead form data is delivered through webhooks and immediately ingested into the dealership's CRM.

TikTok Marketing API

• EZLeads is enrolled in the TikTok Marketing API and uses Lead Generation, Pixel and CAPI endpoints under the TikTok Ads Policies.
• OAuth-based authorization with scoped permissions; no passwords stored.
• Lead data is delivered to the CRM in real time and never used to train or augment third-party models.

Microsoft Advertising

• EZLeads supports Microsoft Advertising Lead Extensions, UET conversion tracking, and import-from-Google flows.
• We comply with Microsoft's Advertising Policies and developer agreements.

Common terms across platforms

• OAuth-only: EZLeads does not store passwords for any platform; tokens are encrypted at rest and revocable from each platform's account settings.
• Minimum scopes: We request only the permissions needed for the connector to function.
• No re-sale: We never sell platform data, never use it to build advertising profiles, and never share it outside the Customer's instructions.
• Retention: Platform data is purged when the connector is disabled or the Account is terminated, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Compliance reviews: We respond to Meta, Google, TikTok and Microsoft compliance audits and provide records on request.
• Notice of changes: Customers are notified before scope changes that affect their data.
